Crowded, misaligned, and gapped teeth are a common concern for many patients. Unfortunately, many people avoid orthodontics because they are not ready to commit to several years of wearing metal braces. The good news? You can achieve a beautifully straightened smile without traditional braces.
At VanderLaan Family Dentistry, we offer ClearCorrect, a modern method for aligning your smile with comfortable, nearly invisible aligners. Schedule an appointment with our office in Byron Center, Michigan, and rediscover your smile with our innovative orthodontic system.
Finding the best dentist for clear aligners near you isn’t about who’s closest to your home. It’s about finding someone with the right skills, technology, and genuine care to give you a smile you’ll love.
Here are 5 signs that you have found a dentist you can trust with your smile.
A good aligner provider doesn’t rush you into treatment. They start with a consultation. At our office, Dr. Matthew VanderLaan will first meet with you to discuss your concerns and goals. The consultation isn’t a sales pitch. It’s an opportunity to understand your needs and goals and to create a treatment plan based on the full picture.
This patient presented to our office for routine care several years ago. After 6-7 years of routine care, the patient admitted that he was not happy with his teeth and was concerned about the cracking in his front tooth. We generated a treatment plan for him that included clear aligner therapy (ClearCorrect), followed by 6 porcelain veneers. ClearCorrect was first used to correct the slight crowding of his lower teeth, create a more ideal relationship between his upper and lower front teeth, and address the underlying causes of his wear and cracking. The veneers were used to restore him to his intended appearance. The result was excellent, and the patient is thrilled to have his smile restored!
Technology has changed everything: how we communicate, get around, and spend our downtime. So, why should it be any different for your dental care? Advanced technology is an integral part of clear aligner orthodontics. Instead of guesswork, your dentist uses cutting-edge tools like digital X-rays and 3D scans to plan your treatment with precision.
Here’s what advanced technology helps with in your clear aligner treatment:
